A 50-year old woman was charged with using counterfeit stamp certificates.
The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) on Friday pressed four charges on Koh Siew Buay for offences under the Stamp Duties Act.
The court heard that between January and July last year, Koh gave out fake stamp certificates for four different properties to four tenants.
If convicted, Koh could be fined up to S$10,000 and jailed up to three years for each offence.
The case has been adjourned to 20 July.
