RELEASE OF 3Q 2009 PUBLIC HOUSING DATAThis is higher than HDB’s estimate earlier this month of a 3.2 per cent increase, and comes after HDB resale prices rose 1.4 per cent in the second quarter over the first quarter.
The final third-quarter figures, released by the HDB on Friday, also showed that the number of resale transactions went up 14 per cent between June and September, to 11,649. Continue reading

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has said it cannot take over the wet markets owned by private operators or interfere with the commercial negotiation between the new owner and the stallholders when such wet markets change hands.
